Service Description
Shiatsu is a bodywork based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is done through clothes on a futon. The treatment uses a wide range of techniques, ranging from a deep firm pressure to dynamic stretches, to gentle holding. Shiatsu works on the same principles as acupuncture, dispersing blockages, which may manifest as tight muscles, sharp pain and acute symptoms and tonifying deficient areas, which may feel cold, empty or aching.
